Iowa City Juneteenth Commemoration

Visit these Herky on Parade statues during Iowa City Juneteenth Celebration

22 of the 100 Herky on Parade statues for the 20th anniversary of public art installation are located in downtown Iowa City and on the east side of the University of Iowa campus all summer long.

The Johnson County, Iowa Juneteenth Commemoration events will be held June 14-19, 2024. All events are free and open to the public.
