“I have many favorite Hawkeye memories. Starting with Chris Kingsbury draining 3s from near halfcourt (something current Hawkeye, Caitlin Clark has perfected!) If forced to pick one, I would go with Iowa’s 2008 victory over #3 ranked Penn State. My roomates (including my cousin Gavin) were on the football team. It was a great team, one that deserved an impressive victory over a highly ranked team. With Shonn Greene carrying much of the load, the team came back from a 23 – 14 deficit to win on a last second field goal by Daniel Murray. You better believe I stormed the field!”
