As an Iowa grad and now Casework Manager for McComas Lacina Construction it’s fun to be involved in the many University of Iowa projects that we are part of. As an undergraduate, I was a member of the Herky Committee and was fortunate to be able to don the Herky uniform and represent Iowa at countless sporting events throughout the country. By far, my favorite memory of Herky was the Rose Bowl Parade on Jan 1st, 1982 where I had the honor of riding the Big Ten float as Herky. The crowds were amazing, and the Iowa fans took over Pasadena. Being part of that extravaganza was an unforgettable experience. Proud to be a Hawkeye!
