Inspired by his high school art teacher Jim Evans, Matt discovered his passion for art early. Deciding to chase his passion after three years of studying an uninspiring subject he started his journey into graphic design. After spending a few years illustrating children’s books he was able to combine his passion of athletics and graphic design at the University of Iowa Department of Athletics where he continues to be inspired by the student-athletes and the creative team he works with.

Brown Deer Place Retirement and Memory Care Community
Brown Deer Place is a Retirement and Memory Care Community. The community offers Independent Living with services including meals, laundry, housekeeping, and health care services . The community also has secured specialized memory care.
At Brown Deer Place, Dreams Come True for residents! In 2023, the staff were able to take a long time Hawkeye fan and season Football ticket holder to a football game in the newly added North End zone. Unfortunately, this resident suffers from Dementia, but when she heard the band and the boys come out of the Tunnell, her eyes lit up and she was able to recognize all of the joys of her younger football days!
