Lastly, Herky Laureate gives a nod to the wonderful community spirit of book clubs like my own one here in Iowa City, which has been meeting monthly since September 2008, bringing together book lovers and forging lasting friendships over a shared passion for reading.

Kirkwood Community College
Kirkwood Community College is a two-year higher educational institution serving a seven-county area in Eastern Iowa that includes Linn, Johnson, Jones, Cedar, Iowa, Benton and Washington Counties.
