Herky is brushing his pearly whites in preparation for the game day ahead. He is dressed in casual attire including faded blue jeans and school spirit sweatshirt and sneakers. Most of Herky is covered with colored paper decoupage while a few areas are painted. Go Hawks!!
I am a lifetime crafter practicing many art mediums. Two of my favorites are assemblage art and stained glass mosaics. I chose to use a colored paper decoupage technique on Herky because the process closely resembles mosaics and it allowed me to achieve a textured appearance on Herky’s surface.
