High Voltage Herky carries their lightning bolt made of welded cold rolled steel and Lexan. The batteries are in Herky’s feet and they power led light on a timer that flash every 15 minutes between 5pm and midnight.

Local IBEW 405
Local 405 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers was chartered in 1911. We represent nearly 1,000 members, working for over 50 electrical contractors in Johnson, Linn, Iowa, Jones, Benton, and Poweshiek Counties. Local 405 and our Union Electrical Contractors provide electrical construction and maintenance services throughout the corridor and beyond. From the U of I Children’s Hospital, to the recent renovations at Kinnick Stadium, to the new hospital in North Liberty, Union Electricians build Eastern Iowa.
