RAGBRAI Herky is presented in recognition and honor of our states most cherished annual summertime cycling tradition. Every year (for 50 years now) RAGBRAI has attracted visitors from all 50 states and more than a dozen other countries to ride their bike from the Missouri to the Mississippi across the beautiful roads of Iowa.

RAGBRAI
RAGBRAI, Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is more than just a bike ride, it is an epic eight-day rolling festival of bicycles, music, food, camaraderie, and community. It is the oldest, largest, and longest multi-day bicycle touring event in the world. For the past fifty years, the people of Iowa, in ways big and small, have welcomed nearly half a million riders from across the world into their lives, and it’s those stories that serve as the inspiration for this year’s logo. RAGBRAI LI is Home Sweet Home – no matter where you’re from.
Our favorite Hawkeye memory was last year in 2023, during the historic RAGBRAI 50. We had the excitement of bringing the official RAGBRAI route and 30,000 riders through the tunnels of Kinnick Stadium. Not only did we show off the Hawkeye spirit but we introduced riders from all 50 states and over a dozen foreign countries to the best tradition in college sports – The Wave. It’s something that we as organizers and our riders will never forget.
