Inspired by the ever-changing beauty of the four seasons, this Herky captures the essence of nature’s transformations. Acrylic paints bring to life the vibrant hues of fall leaves, the tranquility of winter snowflakes, the blossoming flowers of spring, and the lush greenery of summer. The design cascades down Herky, symbolizing the perpetual cycle of seasonal change and the harmonious dance of nature.
I’m self taught artist originally from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, who has recently moved to Iowa, making this my new home. My art style for the most part is realism occasionally, surrealism and illustrations. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work on a project like this, that has such cultural roots to my new home.

Dr. Suzanne Stock is a board-certified orthodontist in private practice in Iowa City. Dr. Stock is pleased to provide braces and clear aligners for children, teens, and adults who want beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Stock is conveniently located near Southeast Junior High and also serves southeast Iowa with offices in Fairfield, Washington, and Williamsburg.
My favorite Hawkeye memory is of going on a literary tour of downtown Iowa City to learn about all of the amazing authors with a connection to our town through the Writers’ Workshop at the University of Iowa. Downtown Iowa City has so many special touches commemorating these writers, like the sidewalk plaques on Iowa Avenue and the bronze book sculptures on Linn Street. Different collaborations between Iowa City and the University of Iowa makes me proud to be a Hawkeye!
