Jaycie Womack Spake is an Illustrator and Muralist based in the Midwest. She graduated from The Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in Illustration. During her time at school, she discovered her love for seeing all the ways in which she can apply her art. Her recent projects have been some of her largest. One of those was for a non-for-profit in Camp Point, IL measuring 24 ft long and another in Palmyra, MO for Carter’s Coffee Bar measuring 30 ft tall. Lastly, her most favorite was the creation of a treehouse inspired mural for Quincy Children’s Museum in Quincy, IL which measured 16 ft. tall! Each project she has tackled has given her something new to navigate and she has taken those challenges head on and completed the project with confidence. Recently, Jaycie was awarded the “Young Professional of the Year” in her hometown. This award is for outstanding young people within the community. It was given to Jaycie specifically for her work within the arts community. Through Jaycie’s hard work and perseverance she has been able to take on her art business full time and is “ready for next” all the time.
